The retirement of Vince McMahon was announced last night, with the shocking after effects still being felt across the wrestling landscape, all over the world.
Many people within WWE are reportedly excited with the change, and it appears that it isn’t just wrestlers in WWE that are hopeful for the change.
Per Wade Keller of PWTorch, several discontented wrestlers in AEW are happy with the news, as they are hopeful that, now Vince and co are out of the company, WWE may show interest in them now, whereas they may not have before.
Many expect the previous edict put in place by WWE, which limited the amount of independent wrestlers being signed to the company, will be abolished under Triple H’s reign.
There are also people in WWE who expect that the change could lead to Sasha Banks and Naomi returning to the company.
