Heavyweight Boxing star Tyson Fury competed in his first WWE match back at the 2019 Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, when he defeated Braun Strowman by countout.
Fury has been going back and forth with former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre since then, with the two seemingly teasing a potential battle against each other.
McIntyre recently spoke to Sky Sports about Fury’s huge boxing clash with Dillian Whyte tomorrow night (April 23).
Drew predicted that Fury would secure the knockout victory, warning him not to ‘screw up’ a potential big time match at the WWE event at Principality Stadium on September 3.
He said:
“All I’ll say to Tyson is, Don’t screw it up! Don’t screw it up. Get through this fight, win it, and then give us a call. We’ll figure out if it can happen in Cardiff.”
McIntyre is sure to feature in a top spot on WWE’s UK event in September, whether he takes on Fury or not. You can see our dream match card for the WWE UK show here.
