Former Universal and 2-time NXT Champion Finn Balor made his return to the WWE main roster on last night’s (July 16) episode of SmackDown, attacking Sami Zayn.
This appearance wasn’t a one off, as WWE has officially moved Balor to the SmackDown brand going forward.
Finn Balor’s last appearance on the WWE main roster was at SummerSlam 2019, where he was beaten by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
Balor had been absent from NXT TV since his defeat to Karrion Kross on May 25.
