First Match Announced For WWE Survivor Series 2023 WWE

The first match announced for WWE Survivor Series 2023 has been revealed on tonight’s November 6 episode of WWE Raw..

On tonight’s WWE Raw, there was a four-way match to determine who would get the next title shot at Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.

As announced last week, the four names in the match were Ricochet, The Miz, Bronson Reed and Ivar.

While not mentioned last week, it was confirmed tonight that the match against Gunther for the winner would come at Survivor Series on November 25.

The finish to the match saw The Miz able to escape from beneath a Tsunami from Bronson Reed, whereas Ricochet got caught by a splash from Ivar.

As the referee counted two pins – Miz pinning Bronson Reed and Ivar pinning Ricochet – at the last second, Ricochet kicked out.

Amid some initial confusion, The Miz was confirmed as the winner of the match, highlighted by a replay after the commercial break.

That confirmed it’ll be Miz challenging Gunther for the Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series.

However in a post-match beatdown, an irate Ivar attacked The Miz and delivered another big move from off the top rope onto him as Michael Cole wondered if The Miz was going to be able to make it to Survivor Series.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, there was a match between Akira Tozawa and Shinsuke Nakamura as the former continues to prove himself to the Alpha Academy – unfortunately for Tozawa, it was a decisive win for Nakamura.
