MMA fighter Denzel Freeman has shot his shot and asked former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan out on a date.
Freeman was in action at the recent PFL Challenger Series event, defeating Raiden Kovacs via TKO just 27 seconds into the first round.
During his post-fight interview, Freeman went for his second W of the night, publicly asking out Liv Morgan.
Naming the WWE star, Freeman said:
“If Liv Morgan is listening, I’m trying to take you out on a date, girl.”
After Ariel Helwani shared a clip of Freeman shooting his shot, Freeman quote-tweeted the video, noting:
Shooters gotta shoot.
While Morgan hasn’t publicly responded to Freeman, she has now retweeted Freeman’s quote-tweet.
Freeman previously trained at the WWE Performance Center after signing with the company in late-2014. He revealed that he had been let go by WWE in 2015, before he could have a match in front of a live crowd.
Liv Morgan was notably training at the Performance Center at this time, signing with WWE in October 2014, ahead of her eventual main roster call-up in 2017.
Morgan last wrestled on the March 17 edition of SmackDown, teaming with Raquel Rodriguez to qualify for the WrestleMania Showcast tag bout.
