Former WWE star Brian Myers believes teaming with his longtime friend and partner Matt Cardona in TNA is always an option.

As previously reported, TNA Wrestling recently announced that former WWE star Brian Myers had re-signed with the company ahead of their rebrand in January 2024.

Myers will remain with the promotion through 2024. He has been with IMPACT Wrestling since his WWE release in 2020.

During his current run with IMPACT/TNA, Myers has been able to wrestle against and alongside his longtime friend and tag team partner, Matt Cardona.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Myers discussed the possibility of The Major Players teaming again one day in TNA Wrestling. He said:

“That’s always an option,”

“Matt is doing incredibly well doing what he’s doing, and he’s pretty much the only one in the world doing it the way he’s doing it at the level he’s doing it.”

“He’s got a plethora of options, and he’s won a lot of people over at TNA, so that will always be an option.”

TNA Wrestling has not yet announced a match for Brian Myers on their upcoming Hard To Kill pay-per-view.

However, Myers will team with Moose and Eddie Edwards to face NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada and The Motor City Machine Guns in a six-man tag team match on Sunday, January 14 at TNA’s Snake Eyes TV taping.

The company recently announced the return of their signature Ultimate X match for Hard To Kill, which you can read here.
