A former WWE star is now officially a free agent after his contract with IMPACT Wrestling expired.
Per Fightful Select, former WWE star Heath Slater, who simply goes by Heath in IMPACT Wrestling, has left the company and is now a free agent.
Heath’s deal with IMPACT has now expired, and he is available for bookings.
Heath Slater was released from WWE in April 2020 after almost 10 years on WWE’s main roster.
He returned for a one-off appearance in July 2020 to face Drew McIntyre, which resulted in the company offering him a full-time deal, which he rejected as he claimed it was about ‘half’ of what he was previously making.
Heath would go on to sign with IMPACT Wrestling, debuting at that year’s Slammiversary event, but he sustained a serious injury very early into his run with the company, which would have been added to his deal.
Slater was called up as a member of the Nexus, before going on to be a member of 3MB alongside Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre, who both returned to the company after being released to become WWE Champion.
Slater captured several tag team championships in his time in WWE, including being the inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champion alongside Rhyno.
