PHOTO: Former WWE Star Set For Return Gives Big Tease

It was reported back in early August at that former NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane had re-signed with WWE, and was set to return to the company.

Kairi’s return was set to come after she had completed her ‘last voyage’ tour of Japan, which saw her wrestle numerous names across several promotions.

Kairi’s last match in Japan took place on October 9, when she teamed with Mayu Iwatani and Nanae Takehashi defeat Hazuki, Koguma and Saya Iida at STARDOM’s Kinshachi Miracle show.

With Kairi competing in her last match in Japan, her next voyage is now free to begin, and she may have just given a big tease that her return to the company is imminent.

Taking to Twitter, Kairi simply shared a photo of herself on board an airplane holding a passport.

Kairi’s former partner and best friend IYO SKY currently reigns as the WWE Women’s Champion, with her defending the title against Charlotte Flair on last week’s SmackDown.
