It has been confirmed that a former WWE star who was released by the company earlier this year has signed a long-term contract with IMPACT Wrestling.
Current IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo confirmed the news today during the IMPACT Press Pass ahead of Bound For Glory. The exact length wasn’t revealed past it being long-term.
Purrazzo had previously been working on a pay-per-appearance deal with the promotion despite winning the title.
She debuted in June and won the title a month later from Jordynne Grace at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. She’s since defended against Grace in her rematch and most recently Susie.
The the title will be on the line at Bound For Glory on Saturday night October 24 as Deonna Purrazzo defends against former AEW star Kylie Rae.
WrestleTalk.com will be providing live coverage of Bound For Glory right here on the website this Saturday.
