Former WWE star’s daughter makes wrestling debut

Following just a few months of training, the daughter of former WWE superstar Santino Marella made her pro wrestling debut this week.

Bianca Carelli released a few pictures of her first match via her Twitter account. Unfortunately she wasn’t picked “randomly” from the crowd to face a giant Samoan man like her father, but she at least matched his debut by winning.

Competing in Battle Arts Professional Wrestling, she was victorious in a tag team match.

Carelli, a former pageant contestant and Miss Teen Ontario-World winner in 2013, has been training at the Wrestling Factory in London, Ontario under the supervision of Cruiserweight Classic participant, Tyson Dux.

Her father also has expressed hopes to train her in the future. The opportunity came just weeks before her 23rd birthday and she has said that she hopes that this is just the first step in achieving her dream to one day perform at WrestleMania.

Marella, who left WWE in 2016 and retired from the ring in 2017, enjoyed a long and mildly successful career in the business. He won the Incontinental Championship on two occasions and the Tag Team and United States titles once each.

Given WWE’s recent trend of hiring second and third generation stars and their continuing evolution in the women’s division, we might very well see another ‘Milan Miracle’ take place in Vince’s company soon.
