A new report has revealed a potential spoiler on former WWE stars Matt Cardona and Steph De Lander returning to TNA.
2024 has seen a great deal of change for TNA Wrestling with the company rebranding to its old moniker and various stars re-signing with the promotion. However, one of TNA’s greatest tag teams of all time, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of The Motor City Machine Guns recently had their deals expire.
Despite the potential loss of two former TNA World Heavyweight Champions, it looks like two stars are on their way back.
Per BodySlam.net (via PWInsider Elite), Steph De Lander is expected to work at this weekend’s TNA IMPACT TV taping in Philadelphia. De Lander was previously known as Persia Pirotta in WWE where she worked on the NXT brand.
The report notes that there has been some talk in the last week of some former names returning to the company as well.
One name that has been bouncing around in regards to a potential return to TNA is Matt Cardona. Cardona has been mentioned as a name who could possibly show up at the TNA IMPACT taping. He currently works for GCW and other independent promotions in an act with De Lander.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on former names returning to TNA when they become available.
