A former WWE writer has commented after being fired by the company in May after reportedly getting on the bad side of Vince McMahon.
Chris DeJoseph, also known as Big Dick Johnson, was fired for disciplinary reasons after McMahon found out about comments he had made during a conference call.
DeJoseph had been the head writer on SmackDown, and was let go after only being appointed in December.
He tweeted two separate comments, reading:
Totally dodged a bullet. #Raw #SmackDownOnFox
After ten years away wasn’t really into giving my life to the unpredictable whims of one person. But I believe in @bruceprichard
and his vision.
There seems to be some frustration there on the part of DeJoseph towards Vince McMahon, who as we all know by now calls the shots and is essentially the one-person audience the creative team has to cater towards.
Exact details on DeJoseph’s firing are still somewhat scarce, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for updates when more come to light.
