German WWE Star Ludwig Kaiser Addresses ‘Bash In Berlin’ PLE Announcement

Ludwig Kaiser, WWE’s only star from Germany, has addressed today’s announcement of the Bash In Berlin PLE for August 2024.

The show will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, and is the first ever major WWE PLE in Germany.

In a video on the official German WWE Twitter page, Kaiser commented on the announcement, saying (translated from German):

“Yes it’s unbelievable, it’s an unbelievable time at the moment. I’m so proud, not only about what we are currently doing, but for everyone who makes this possible and for the support.

“I see it every week online, I see it everywhere. Everyone is excited, everyone is pumped for WWE and next year we are going to be rewarded with the first ever WWE PLE in Germany.

“I am honestly very happy about this and happy to see old and new faces. See you there.”

Kaiser’s close personal friend and leader of Imperium, Gunther, is Austrian, while Giovanni Vinci is from South Tyrol in Italy, which actually used to be part of Austria and is mostly a German-speaking region.

Other closely related names are Oro Mensah, who is Swiss of African descent, and Ilja Dragunov, who is Russian but lived in Germany for a long time.

The announcement of Bash In Berlin in partnership with Live Nation follows the huge success of multiple International WWE Premium Live Events over the past 12 months, including: Elimination Chamber from Montreal, Backlash from Puerto Rico, Night of Champions from Jeddah and Money In The Bank from London. Australia will play host to Elimination Chamber: Perth on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
