Gran Metalik (Mascara Dorada) Makes IMPACT Wrestling Debut WWE

IMPACT Wrestling held it’s most recent batch of television tapings last night in Dallas, with various noteworthy occurrences taking place.

One of those occurrences was a big debut, that of former WWE star Gran Metalik (Mascara Dorada), who wrestled for IMPACT for the first time during the tapings.

Gran Metalik wrestled for WWE from 2016 – 2021, competing on 205 Live as a part of the Cruiserweight Division, and then eventually teaming with Lince Dorado and Kalisto as the Lucha House Party on Raw and SmackDown.

Dorada picked up the victory over another fellow 205 Live alumni Alex Zayne.

Dorada took to Twitter to his debut, sharing a clip from his match with Zayne.

He tweeted:

Thank you @IMPACTWRESTLING #mexicano #simba #agradecidocondios #autenticoreydelascuerdas

Dorada has primarily wrestled for NJPW Strong since his release from WWE back in November 2021, as well as various other independents such as GCW.

The other newsworthy event from the tapings came when Mike Bennett and Matt Taven of the OGK defeated the Good Brothers for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship.
