WWE Hall Of Famer Says Becky Lynch Wanted Him As A Manager WWE

Many WWE legends have become managers in the world of professional wrestling in recent years, most notably in All Elite Wrestling.

One other WWE legend who has taken up many roles in wrestling since his retirement is Mick Foley, who has served as a general manager, commentator and guest.

Speaking on his Foley is Pod podcast, Foley was asked about whether he would want to manage anyone in AEW akin to the legends like Jake Roberts doing so.

Foley said that he doesn’t think he could offer much as a manager, but said that Becky Lynch has always wanted to have him as a manager.

He said:

“I can’t think of anybody offhand. Because honestly, I don’t think I have much to offer in a managerial role.

“Do you know who’s always wanted me to do an angle, like from a managerial perspective? Becky Lynch. She’s pointed that out a few times. I said, ‘Becky, if you can talk to the powers that be, I would,’ but she’s doing really well on her own.

“So I can’t I can’t think offhand of somebody who could benefit from me standing around ringside as a middle-aged man. So I’m open to ideas though.”

Becky recently defended the NXT Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules match against Tiffany Stratton at NXT No Mercy.

Becky is set to defend the title against Lyra Valkyria at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24.
