Heath Miller, fka Heath Slater, was an entrant in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at Bound for Glory. However, the match had more at stake for both Heath and his partner Rhino.
If neither of them won the match, then they both would be out of IMPACT Wrestling. During the match, Slater appears to have suffered some kind of injury.
He was limping heavily and laid in the ring. While lying in the ring, a doctor was seen checking on him. It seemed the doctor called for him to be removed from the match and Sami Callihan eliminated him.
After the elimination, several doctors and responders tended to Slater ringside. IMPACT did not give an update as the match continued in the ring.

IMPACT acted quickly and got Slater out of harm’s way. Hopefully, the injury is minor and won’t keep him out of action for long.
Whether or not he was supposed to be eliminated, we don’t know. However, Rhino was still in the match and ended up winning.
Slater later posted an apology to fans for getting injured. He appeared to be on a stretcher and in a doctor’s office of some kind.

If Rhino winning wasn’t the original plan, then Callihan and Rhino did some quick adjusting and hid it very well.
Kudos to IMPACT for how they handled the injury and best wishes to Heath.
