Several Titles Change Hands At IMPACT Bound For Glory

A number of new champions were crowned during the October 23 IMPACT Bound for Glory pay-per-view.

To kick of the night, Jordynne Grace defeated John Skyler, Fallah Bahh, Chelsea Green, Crazzy Steve, and Madison Rayne to become the inaugural IMPACT Digital Media Champion during the Bound for Glory pre-show.

In the opening match of the main card, The IInspiration (fka WWE’s The IIconics) defeated Decay for the Knockouts Tag Team Title in Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay’s IMPACT in-ring debuts.

The vacant X-Division Championship was claimed by Trey Miguel, who defeated El Phantasmo and Steve Maclin in three-way action for the gold.

In the co-main event of the night, Mickie James pinned Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship, ending Purrazzo’s 343 day title reign. James is now a four-time Knockouts Champion, previously winning the title in April 2011, August 2011 and May 2013.

In the main event of the evening, Josh Alexander defeated Christian Cage to win the IMPACT World Championship. While Alexander was celebrating in the ring with his family, Moose cashed in his Call Your Shot contract that he won earlier in the night. Moose promptly hit Alexander with a spear before pinning him to become the new IMPACT World Champion.

The IMPACT Tag Team Championship was successfully defended at Bound for Glory, with The Good Brothers victorious over challengers FinJuice and Bullet Club.

It was previously reported that the partnership between AEW & IMPACT will end following the pay-per-view. You can read more about that here.
