A former WWE NXT star has made their Impact Wrestling debut, facing a former Impact Knockouts World Champion.
On the February 9 episode of Impact Wrestling, Persia Pirotta made her debut, challenging Jordynne Grace and promising to further the former champion’s “fall from grace.”
Sadly, for Pirotta, now going by the name Steph De Lander, things didn’t quite go as planned.
With Impact Wrestling being taped in advance, Pirotta was revealed to have debuted for Impact Wrestling in January 2023.
She would claim that she her presence would see “the Knockouts division… shaking in their boots.”
De Lander appeared as Persia Pirotta on WWE NXT between October 2021 and March 2022.
She was released by WWE in April 2022.
Grace has been a two-time Impact Knockouts World Champion.
She recently lost the championship to Mickie James at Hard To Kill on January 13 2023 after a reign of 208 days
The Title vs Career Match would see Mickie James become the five-time Impact Knockouts World Champion.
It was recently announced that Impact Wrestling and NJPW would be co-producing a show named ‘Multiverse United: Only The STRONG Survive’.
