IMPACT Wrestling Announces Firings & Suspension Following Allegations

IMPACT Wrestling has announced two terminations and one suspension following recent allegations that came to light during the #SpeakingOut movement.

There have been several allegations of sexual assault against Joey Ryan, whose contract has now been terminated by the promotion.

The contract of Dave Crist, who has also been accused of several accounts of sexual assault, has been terminated too.

Past allegations against Michael Elgin have also resurfaced, as well as more recent accusations of sending inappropriate photos to women, and IMPACT has announced his suspension pending further review of said allegations.

The promotion posted the following on its website:

IMPACT Wrestling confirms that it has terminated its contracts with Dave Crist and Joey Ryan, effective immediately. In addition, it has suspended Michael Elgin pending further review of allegations of misconduct.
