As of this writing, no participants have been announced for the match.
The Ultimate X match is considered one of the most successful original ideas TNA ever had. The first of its kind took place in 2003 when Michael Shane defeated Chris Saban and Frankie Kazarian to win the X-Division Championship.
The last Ultimate X match took place almost a year to the day before this one. It happened on April 4, 2019, when Johnny Impact won a shot at the X-Division title. Ace Austin, Pat Buck, Dante Fox, and Jake Crist were also in the match.
