Inaugural AEW Triple Crown Champion Revealed AEW

The winner of the AEW Continental Classic & Inaugural Triple Crown Champion was revealed at AEW Worlds End as Eddie Kingston won it all.

At tonight’s pay-per-view in Long Island, NY, AEW Worlds End, the Continental Classic Tournament winner was revealed.

After a violent battle between Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, the winner of the Continental Classic and the Continental Triple Crown is Eddie Kingston.

After having put his two titles on the line (the ROH World Title and NJPW Strong Openweight Championship) in order to form the Triple Crown in the first place, Kingston was able to come back from being two matches down to win the entire tournament.

The Championship belt design for the Continental Crown belt was also revealed, with referee Bryce Remsburg presenting it to Eddie Kingston upon his win.

After the match, Jon Moxley hugged Kingston as the crowd happily chanted, “You deserve it!” at champ.

Kingston himself mouthed “Mad Kurt, Rest in Peace” at the camera after Taz on commentary had mentioned that Eddie was dedicating the performance to him tonight after the British wrestling star, Kurtis Chapman, recently passed away.
