Is Tye Dillinger Trying To Get Fired?

Tye Dillinger could have potentially landed himself in very hot water, tweeting without thinking about the most controversial event of the year.

With the huge amount of negative press associated with the WWE pushing ahead with their plans to hold Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, the last thing the company would want would be public dissension coming from within.

Earlier in the day, during the third quarter conference call, Vince McMahon and other members of WWE‘s upper leadership refused to even speak about the controversial event. It must then have come as quite a shock to the Chairman to see one of his wrestlers appearing to be openly critical of his company’ plans.

It started with Matt Jackson taking to Twitter to seemingly criticise the WWE‘s decision to keep with the Saudi venue:

“Money ain’t everything”

WWE had announced their plans regarding Crown Jewel only a short time before the post. What Matt was talking about isn’t clear, but most assumed it to be critical of Crown Jewel. If Tye realised this or not is unknown, however it must have struck a chord with him as he replied:

It’s one thing for someone outside of the company to criticise such a controversial decision. However, when Dillinger replied, seeming to support Matt’s statement, many felt he crossed a line.

Tye possibly agreed that his tweet had gone too far; both he and Matt deleted their messages soon after.

It is unclear if there will be any fallout resulting from these messages, but it isn’t hard to imagine Vince and Co. having a full blown meltdown over this. Could this lead to Tye being wished all the best in his future endeavours?
