TBS Champion Jade Cargill has now passed an impressive milestone, making AEW championship history.
Cargill is the inaugural TBS Champion, defeating Ruby Soho in the TBS Title tournament finals on the January 5, 2022 edition of Dynamite.
The dominant star has defended the gold 17 times since then, most recently retaining in about against Skye Blue at Battle of the Belts V on January 6.
As of January 14, Cargill has held the gold for 374 days. She is now the longest reigning champion in AEW history.
Prior to Cargill, AEW’s longest reigning champion was Hikaru Shida, who held the AEW Women’s Championship for 372 days.
Cargill made her wrestling debut on the March 3, 2021 edition of Dynamite, teaming with Shaquille O’Neal to defeat Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet.
Since then, Cargill has remained undefeated in singles competition, with the only match that she competed in and didn’t have her arm raised at the end being the Casino Battle Royal at All Out 2021.
