WWE NXT star Jaida Parker has named Jade Cargill as one of the inspirations for her own future in the company.

Although Cargill is yet to have her first WWE match, she came to the company having been the longest-reigning champion in AEW history.

Cargill signed with WWE in September 2023, and has gone on to make on-screen appearances across all three brands.

In a recent appearance on The Porch podcast, Parker spoke about her inspirations, saying:

“I’m trying to be like Jade Cargill, like when she came. I’m trying to [draw the reaction of] like ‘Oh, we want her.

“She’s a beautiful woman, and she’s an athlete. I want to be like that.”

Parker would go on to praise other members of the women’s roster, adding:

“I want them to be like, ‘Oh, that’s Becky [Lynch]. I want her over here.’ Trish Stratus, all of them.

“Zoey Stark, Lita, Rhea [Ripley], Sasha Banks, Naomi.

“I’m trying to get that, and until then, I’m going to keep talking.

“But you’re going to see in the ring, eventually, it’s going be up there. That’s my goal.”

Parker made her in-ring debut on the October 17, 2023, episode in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.

In the interview, she would also say that she’s “tired of hearing” WWE NXT described as “developmental.”

She would note that the appearance of main roster stars has made NXT a “third brand”.

It was previously reported that Endeavor and Nick Khan wanted NXT to be seen as a third brand alongside WWE Raw and SmackDown.
