Jade Cargill Retains TBS Championship On AEW Rampage

Jade Cargill successfully defended her TBS Championship on tonight’s episode (April 22) of AEW Rampage bringing her record to 30-0.

With Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet still in the Baddies section, Jade took on ‘The Problem’ Marina Shafir in a big championship match.

Jade eventually captured the win via pinfall after hitting her finisher, Jaded, bringing her record to the impressive 30-0 and a celebration ensued with plenty of money confetti raining down on the crowd.

Elsewhere on the pre-taped episode, Eddie Kingston beat Daniel Garcia and sent a message to Chris Jericho. After the bout, Kingston took off his belt and pondered using it before taking to the mic to report, “I’m saving this whipping for you Chris!”

Adam Cole defeated Tomohiro Ishii to qualify for the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament set to kick off next month and culminate with the inaugural winners being crowned in Las Vegas at Double or Nothing.

Announced for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is another major Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifier seeing the members of FTR take on each other as Cash Wheeler faces Dax Harwood to qualify for the Owen Cup.
