Jake Paul is open to joining Logan Paul in WWE.
In 2022, Logan Paul competed in a WWE ring for the first time at WrestleMania 38. Since then, he has competed against The Miz at Summerslam, against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel and in the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Jake Paul said that he would consider joining his brother in WWE, but he doesn’t want to suffer a severe injury derailing his boxing career. He stated:
“We’ll see. I’m down. I just don’t want to get injured. My brother tore his MCL; it’s crazy out there. So, I just don’t want it to derail my boxing and all that, but I’m down.”
“I love WWE. I love working with my brother. So that would definitely be something that could be on the horizon, for sure.”
At WWE Royal Rumble, Logan Paul made quite the impact eliminating Seth Rollins from the bout and creating a viral moment with a double Springboard Clothesline spot where he and Ricochet collided in the middle of the ring.
Speaking about the moment, Jake Paul says his brother was built for that spot and is amazed by how quickly his brother adapted to WWE. He said:
“He was literally perfectly made for that sport. It’s absurd. I don’t get it, and it looks like he’s been doing it for years. I don’t get it. It’s nuts, man.”
Putting over Logan’s work ethic and his desire to be the best at whatever they do as a family trait, Jake said:
“We always take everything we do very seriously and want to excel at it. That’s just how the Pauls do it. Whatever it is we set our mind to and get involved in, we want to be the best at it.”
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Logan Paul cost Seth Rollins the WWE United States Championship inside the titular structure.
Reports have indicated that Paul and Rollins will meet at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles this April.
Jake Paul is set to fight Tommy Fury on Saturday, February 25, 2023 on ESPN+. Should Paul win, he will receive an official WBC ranking.
