Tonight’s (September 4) episode of WWE Raw featured the fallout from last Saturday’s WWE Payback premium live event.
The show saw Jey Uso be revealed as the newest member of the Raw roster after he quit both SmackDown and WWE following SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes announced Jey as the newest member of the roster on the Grayson Waller Effect, before Jey laid out Waller with a Superkick.
Tonight’s show opened up with Jey speaking, where he said that he reached his breaking point feuding with his family every week, before Cody Rhodes called him out of the blue to bring him back to Raw.
Jey was then interrupted by Sami Zayn, who said that Jey is going to have a lot of people who don’t want him on the show, but he wanted to make sure he was the first person to see him when he came to Raw, to say that he’s happy Jey is here.
Sami praised Jey for standing on his own two feet and breaking away, saying he has become ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso, before saying he was proud of Jey and offering him a handshake, which Jey didn’t accept.
Sami went to leave, before Jey called him back into the ring, saying that wasn’t very Ucey of him, and hugging Sami.
