Jim Cornette Responds To CM Punk Reference On WWE Raw WWE

After having the names of his podcasts name dropped on WWE Raw by CM Punk, Jim Cornette has responded on his show and social media.

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw (March 25), CM Punk had a spicy in-ring exchange with both Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins.

However a moment before either McIntyre or Rollins actually arrived on the scene caught fans’ attention as Punk was addressing Pat McAfee on commentary.

Noting that he was aware Pat had a show, Punk stated that he wasn’t a daily listener, but that he ‘listens to the Drive Thru and the Experience’ in a nod to Cornette’s podcasts without directly naming Cornette as their host.

While Punk continued on to make a point regarding Roman Reigns’ recent appearance on McAfee’s show, it was still an intriguing reference for those in the know.

While there was also a clip of Jim Cornette’s reaction uploaded to his YouTube channel regarding his response to the mention, the picture is worth a thousand words.

Cornette’s wife Stacey posted a photo of the well known podcaster doing CM Punk’s signature pose in a Punk shirt, alongside their adorable dog Harley Quinn.

Along with the photo, which you can see below, was the caption:

“Jim, Harley Quinn and the ratings say “It’s clobberin’ time!”

“#cultofviewerswatchingtv #demogod #philthearena”

CM Punk for his part has been announced for another intriguing upcoming appearance with a well known media name.

Ariel Helwani announced that on Monday, April 1, CM Punk will be live in his studio for an interview for his show, The MMA Hour.

In Punk’s first live extended interview since signing with WWE and departing AEW, Helwani noted that there were “no restrictions, nothing off limits, no holds barred, nothing is taboo,” in the interview.

Helwani of course notably exchanged words with Tony Khan over social media.

After previously describing Khan as one of his most difficult interviews, things got decidedly more personal during an exchange during February 2023.

CM Punk was fired by AEW in September 2023; he made his surprise return to WWE in November 2023 to close Survivor Series.
