While Jim Cornette has been critical of much of AEW’s product since its launch in 2019, the controversial wrestling figure has always been a fact on FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
However, Cornette has taken to Twitter this morning to express how he didn’t like the FTR vs. Jurassic Express match on AEW Dynamite last week, despite Harwood previously stating that the “s**t kicking” would be “all in the name of Jim Cornette:
This didn’t age well–if you’re going to do high school cheerleading routines with a circus sideshow attraction instead of what you promise to do, and embarrass yourself on national TV in the process, don’t invoke my name before you do it.

Many fans were actually pretty high on the FTR vs. Jurassic Express match, with Wrestling Twitter being of the opinion that the match was probably the best showcase of Marko Stunt in AEW since he joined the promotion.
