Johnny Gargano Update From Backstage At SummerSlam

Ahead of WWE SummerSlam, an update on the potential return of Johnny Gargano including if he has been spotted backstage.

An update on Johnny Gargano’s status from PWInsider but spoiler alert, if you’re super excited to see Johnny Wrestling tonight, the news is grim.

According to their report, not only is Gargano not backstage at SummerSlam, he was never scheduled to be at the event and there is no indication he will be there.

With PWInsider’s report specifically saying a Johnny Gargano return wasn’t “in the cards for tonight,” let;s go ahead and radically speculate that he will be back, it’s only a matter of time, as Ciampa said.

Because I’m both hopeful and love a good misdirection, I’ll stick around to keep the fire lit at Camp Gargano Watch 2022!

WWE SummerSlam is set to kick off soon with major bouts for most of the Championship gold in WWE on the line.

The show is slated to open with the WWE Raw Women’s Championship match between champ Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch in what is sure to be another event stealing matchup.
