GCW World Champion Jon Moxley will compete in a Title vs Career match at GCW Fight Club later this year.
The October 8-9 event will be headlined by a GCW World Championship match between champion Moxley and challenger Nick Gage.
If Gage loses this bout, he’ll be forced to step away from the ring for good.
This match came about following the stars’ confrontation during the August 13 GCW Homecoming show. After Gage challenged Moxley a GCW World Championship bout, the AEW star stated that he’d only give Gage another title shot if Gage was to put his career on the line.
Moxley previously defended his gold against Gage at GCW Fight Club in October 2021. He has been champion since September 2021, after defeating Mat Cardona for the title at The Art Of War Games.
The GCW Fight Club weekend will take place at the Showboat in Atlantic City.
Moxley is also the current AEW World Champion after defeating CM Punk in a matter of minutes in their undisputed title match on the August 24 edition of Dynamite.
