Ken Shamrock Wanted To Be Guest Referee For Extreme Rules Fight Pit WWE

Former WWE star and UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock has revealed that he wanted to be the guest referee for the Seth Rollins vs Matt Riddle Fight Pit.

Rollins and Riddle will battle it out at the Extreme Rules premium live event on October 8. Following speculation that Ken Shamrock would be returning to officiate the bout, Shamrock noted that he’d be willing to return for the appearance, telling people to let WWE and Triple H know he’d be open.

Noting that he’d want the bout to be marketed as a Lion’s Den match, Shamrock tweeted:

“Seen posts about people wanting me to guest ref the Rollins vs Riddle Fight Pit… If so we’d have to call it the Lions Den 🦁 Someone would have to let @WWE or @TripleH know 😂”

Ken Shamrock also recently noted that he ‘couldn’t agree more‘ with a fan who argued that this match would be the perfect occasion for Shamrock to make a return.

It was later announced that UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier will be the guest referee for the bout. Reacting to this news, Shamrock tweeted:

“This is amazing, I’m hoping Daniel Cormier will have a role in WWE after this match #ExtremeRules”

A variety of stipulation matches have been announced for the October 8 premium live event, including an I Quit match between Edge and Finn Balor, and a ladder match for the Raw Women’s Championship.
