The fallout from the backstage fight at the AEW All Out media scrum is still being felt a week after the pay-per-view ended.
The fight between CM Punk, Ace Steel and the Elite resulted in everyone involved being suspended by the company, and the AEW World and AEW World Trios Championships being vacated.
Omega was also set to appear on an upcoming episode of Swerve Strickland’s ‘Swerve City’ podcast, but the AEW World Tag Team Champion took to Twitter today to announce that Omega’s appearance on the show had been delayed due to ‘unfortunate circumstances’.
He said:
“Due to unfortunate circumstances the interview with Kenny Omega, has been postponed to a later date. Stay tuned for a rescheduled appearance in the future. Our next guest will be announced Monday 12pm.”
The new AEW Trios Champions were crowned on this week’s Dynamite, when Death Triangle defeated the Best Friends to become the new champions.
The next AEW World Champion will be crowned at AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium in two weeks in the finals of the ongoing AEW World Championship Tournament of Champions.
