AEW World Champion Kenny Omega had some harsh words for a fan who told the major star to quit living in the past.
Three years ago, Omega defeated Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Dominion 2018. Omega shared a post on Twitter, recalling the match.
Asking fans for their opinions, Omega tweeted:
“3 years ago, another ‘greatest of all time’ performance. I have many of these in various match variations. Which is your favorite?”
A “fan” replied to the post, asking Omega what he had done recently. In response to being told to stop living in the past, Omega reminded the commenter of his Double or Nothing match, tweeting:
“Well, umm… you could start with the last match I had 2 weeks ago? I spoiled you bitches for far too long.”
Omega defeated Orange Cassidy and PAC to retain his AEW gold at Double or Nothing. He will next defend the title on Dynamite later this month, against Jungle Boy.
Omega also holds the IMPACT World Championship, and the AAA Mega Title. His IMPACT gold will be on the line at Against All Odds this Saturday.
Andrade will challenge for the AAA title at TripleMania in August. Conflicting reports have emerged surrounding Andrade’s creative control in AEW, following his debut on Dynamite.
