The finish to the WWE SmackDown main event has garnered so much buzz it has gotten Kevin Dunn trending on Twitter!
While an exciting match up was taking place between a team of Drew McIntyre, Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens taking on Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) along with Austin Theory, the finish was difficult to see.
As in, due to a notable production botch, the major moves to end the match weren’t captured!
Viewers missed Kevin Owens delivering a stunner to Chad Gable on the announcer’s table and then subsequently the match winning Claymore.
After the Claymore, Drew McIntyre got the pinfall victory over Austin Theory and in a post-match beat down angle, showed off his strap skills at Theory’s expense.
Drew McIntyre will face Karrion Kross in a strap match at Extreme Rules on October 8, 2022.
