Kevin Owens is set to make his first match on SmackDown for the November 3 episode.
On the October 13 edition of WWE SmackDown, new General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Kevin Owens was moving over to the blue brand in the trade for Jey Uso going to Raw.
Since then, Owens has yet to return to in-ring action on Friday nights. However, that will change this coming week.
On Thursday afternoon, WWE announced that Kevin Owens will have his first match back on SmackDown against Austin Theory on the November 3 episode of SmackDown. The company wrote the following statement on the bout:
SmackDown’s newest Superstar Kevin Owens will take on Austin Theory in hopes of punching the foulmouthed former United States Champion in the mouth.
Owens doesn’t like Theory, which he made clear during their backstage encounter on the most recent episode of SmackDown when Owens popped Theory.
Check out SmackDown on Friday at 8/7 Con FOX to see if Owens will make good on his promise of punching Theory in the face again!
Also announced for this Friday’s show, Bianca Belair will face Bayley and Pretty Deadly will face The Brawling Brutes in a Donnybrook Rules Match.
