WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has spoken about current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, and what he thinks makes him special.
Angle has seen many special talents in the wrestling world following his WWE debut back in 1999, including being the man to introduce WWE fans to John Cena.
Speaking on his Kurt Angle show podcast, the Olympic Gold Medallist spoke about Moxley, admitting that he is ‘doing great’.
He went on to claim that the AEW World Champion is ‘one of the most underrated’ wrestlers, and what it is that makes him special,
He said:
“I think he’s doing great.
“I think he is one of the most underrated wrestlers, definitely. I think he’s solid. I think he does everything incredibly well.
I don’t see much of a transformation from Dean Ambrose to Jon Moxley. It seems like he’s still him. He has that attitude. He never took that away from himself, that’s what makes him special. That arrogant, cocky look is what makes him who he is.”
Angle teamed with Moxley during his days as Dean Ambrose in WWE, when Angle filled in for Roman Reigns in the Shield’s match at TLC 2017.
Moxley is set to defend the AEW World Championship against MJF at the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
