WWE Hall of Famer and multi-time world champion Kurt Angle has revealed which WWE wrestler he believes is the most underrated in the company.
Speaking on his podcast The Kurt Angle Show, Angle said:
“Bobby Roode is the most underrated wrestler … there. They are not doing right by Bobby. He is so talented. He, I have to say, for me working with, you know, I’ve worked with thousands of talent. Bobby is in my top ten. Definitely is in my top ten.”
Roode has not wrestled on WWE television since the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 1 WrestleMania go-home episode of Smackdown, and hasn’t wrestled at all since his last house show match in June.
He recently underwent a medical procedure at Southlake Orthopaedics in Birmingham, Alabama, which seemingly goes some way to explaining his recent absence.
While working for IMPACT, Roode won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship six times, the King of the Mountain Championship once, and the TNA World Championship twice.
While with WWE, Roode has won the NXT Championship once, the WWE 24/7 Championship once, the WWE United States Championship once, the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship once, and the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship on two occasions.
