Lance Archer Wants To See Former WWE Star In AEW

Former IWGP United States Champion and AEW star Lance Archer wants to see a former WWE star in All Elite Wrestling.

The NJPW World Tag League 2023 tournament concluded with IWGP World Tag Team Champions Bishamon defeating NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions El Phantasmo and Hikuleo in the finals. However, this year’s tournament had quite a bit of AEW participation to it.

Current ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Gates of Agony were part of the A Block, while Lance Archer paired up with Alex Zayne to form Monster Sauce in the B Block.

In their post-match comments, Lance Archer encouraged Tony Khan to bring the former WWE star Zayne into AEW to give the fans some of Monster Sauce. On coming short in the tournament, Zayne said:

“Sure, we didn’t make it to the finals. We didn’t make it to the finals of the World Sauce League, and that’s alright. That’s alright because we still went out on top today.”

“It’s far from over because I’m still hungry. I still got a huge appetite, and I’m ready to eat. So I’m gonna let my boys cook.”

Archer continued on to call out Tony Khan to bring Monster Sauce to AEW, saying:

“Monster Sauce will be back to Japan, one day sooner or later. But Tony, if you’re not afraid, you should bring us to AEW. You should let us run wild on the tag division.”

“Ricky Starks, Big Bill, you’re the tag team champions right now. You think you have it on lock, but if we show up, like he said, he’s gonna sauce you, I’m gonna toss you.”

“He’s gonna throw you, I’m going to kill you because when Monstersauce shows up, everybody dies.”

Taking to social media after the show, Archer reiterated that Monster Sauce is prepared to go on a world tour to any promotion. He said:

“Japan, we are coming back. USA, if you want some sauce, you better hit us up quick. Because we’re gonna travel all over the world.”

“Whether it’s AEW, whether it’s the independent circuit all across the United States and the world, hell, we might even show up in CMLL. You never know.”

“But if you hit us up, Monstersauce is coming, and we’re gonna sauce the world. Because I toss ’em, he sauces ’em. I kill ’em, he thrills him. We’re Monster Sauce, and everybody dies.”

Zayne continued on to deliver the team’s catchphrase, saying:

“So if you want a little flavor, come get a little taste of Monstersauce, and we will eat you alive.”
