Latest On AEW Stars Missing From ‘AEW: Fight Forever’ Roster AEW/THQ

Pre-orders are now available for AEW’s first video game ‘AEW: Fight Forever’ after the game was officially revealed earlier this week.

Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided more information on the game. Fightful states that THQ Nordic’s team designed the cover for the game, as opposed to the AEW graphics team. People in AEW didn’t even know until the cover was leaked the day prior who the cover athletes would be, including the actual athletes themselves.

The story mode featured in the game is reportedly ‘much different’ than many previous story modes. There are also more mini-games than the ones shown on the AEW Twitch stream this week, with the fourth mini-game being related to Orange Cassidy.

There are several AEW talent that arrived around the beginning of this year that likely won’t make the cut for the roster. The internal release date has been moved several times, but at one point release was planned for late September. However, Kenny Omega told Fightful that it will hopefully release this year.

Fightful also notes that Yuke’s has kicked game production into ‘high gear’ the past few months to make additions and fixes to the game.

Fighful has also heard rumors from the publisher and developer that we will likely see more on the game next month in Japan.

If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
