Latest On Bayley & Asuka WWE Injury Statuses

Updates have emerged on the statuses of several WWE stars, ahead of tonight’s Royal Rumble event in St Louis.

Ahead of the show, there has been speculation that Bayley and Asuka could return to the ring in tonight’s Royal Rumble match. Mike Johnson of PWInsider now reports that he has not heard that either star is in St Louis.

The report stated that the latest word on Bayley backstage is that WWE expects her to return to action in March. Asuka is reportedly set to return from injury in February.

Bayley notably picked up an ACL injury while training at the Performance Center in July 2021. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion teased her return to the ring in December, noting that her leg felt great.

Asuka hasn’t wrestled since Money in the Bank in July 2021. Asuka has been recovering from a shoulder injury since, with the star sharing a photo of her arm in a brace back in August. Recent reports noted there had been internal discussions about Asuka returning in the women’s Rumble.
