The latest has been revealed on the possibility of Sting’s sons wrestling following their AEW Dynamite appearance.
On the February 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, Sting and Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
The post match featured Sting’s sons Garrett Lee and Steven Borden Jr. coming to the ring to celebrate with the new champions.
Many fans noticed the striking resemblance that the two men have to their father, including impressive size that could work as wrestlers.
Speaking to Stephanie Chase of Digital Spy, Darby Allin was asked if Sting’s sons had any future in the pro wrestling business. He answered:
“They’re not interested at all,”
“I’ve asked [Sting] I was like, ‘I’m just curious, I really want to know have your sons ever tried this?’ He said, ‘No, they’re not interested.'”
“It just wasn’t a thing that they wanted to do, but I was curious because they’re pretty big dudes. They should get together, become a tag team – that would be cool.”
Matthew and Nicholas Jackson came out to ruin the celebration by brutally attacking Darby and Sting after their AEW World Tag Team Title victory.
The Young Bucks will challenge Sting and Darby Allin for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW Revolution.
