A WWE legend has reacted to his real life son getting a brand new moniker now that he has signed with the company.
On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, there was a debut by a familiar face with a new name.
The independent wrestler and multi-generational star Brogan Finlay debuted on WWE NXT television with his new name, Uriah Connors.
When a fan online mentioned that they had wished that he had gotten to keep the legendary Finlay name in WWE, his real life Dad Fit Finlay responded.
Taking to Twitter, he said:
“the name may have changed, but, the blood is still the same!”
Connors lost in his in-ring debut in a short match against Shawn Spears.
Another famous progeny in NXT, Charlie Dempsey (real life son of William Regal), goes by a different moniker yet his relation to the legend is still alluded to on television.
This week on NXT, William Regal made his on-screen WWE return as he was involved in an in-ring segment with Dempsey. You can click here to read more about that.
