Lexis King Breaks Silence After Costing WWE Star Recent Match WWE

Lexis King has broken his silence after his controversial interjection into an important match on this week’s NXT (November 21).

Attempting to earn the third slot in the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline on December 10, Josh Briggs took on former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes in singles action.

In what was the biggest opportunity of Briggs’ WWE career thus far, he would pull off the win over Hayes in a result very few would have seen coming.

However, this win came as a direct result of some outside interference from NXT’s newest star Lexis King, who distracted Hayes right as it seemed as if he had the result in the bag.

In reaction to his crucial interjection, King would cheekily take to Twitter to congratulate Briggs on his win, saying:

Congratulations to Josh Briggs on an outstanding victory!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I really do bring out the best in everyone at #WWENXT

Only being a month removed from his NXT debut, WWE have immediately pushed King into perhaps the hottest angle on the brand involving Hayes and Trick Williams.

With Williams already qualified for the Iron Survivor Challenge, it seems as if WWE may now look at booking Hayes in a match with King at Deadline, but as of now there has been no announcement on that.

Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for any future updates on this and other match announcements for NXT Deadline.
