Leyla Hirsch Vs. Red Velvet Rematch Set For AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to reveal another match added to the already stacked card for tomorrow’s (March 23) episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.

Announced for the episode, “Legit” Leyla Hirsch is set to take on Red Velvet in a rematch from their epic battle on Rampage last week and there is someone who is banned from ringside.

Khan tweeted:

“Following their excellent match last week on Rampage, the Red Velvet/Leyla Hirsch rivalry is even at 1-1; we’ll see the rubber match in their trilogy tomorrow on #AEWDynamite on @TBSNetwork @ 8pm ET/7pm CT @Thee_Red_Velvet vs @LegitLeyla, + Kris Statlander is banned from ringside.”

Kris Statlander teased a new side to her character in a vignette on last week’s AEW Dynamite, then appearing on Rampage to cause a distraction near the end of the match between Velvet and Hirsch, ultimately opening up Velvet to get the victory.

Statlander’s appearance was referenced on commentary as she was noted as looking “completely different” and being sans war paint.

Elsewhere, Tony Khan has also announced several other matches for AEW Dynamite, including opponents for Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson.
