Likely Reason For Sasha Banks WWE Absence

The likely reason that Sasha Banks has been off WWE TV for several months has come to light ahead of her return.

PWInsider is reporting that Sasha Banks will make her return to SmackDown tonight after being off WWE TV since April, with her last match being a loss to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania.

As per PWInsider’s report, the belief is that Banks has been busy filming content as Koska Reeves, her Star Wars character, for a future Disney+/Lucasfilm series.

There’s no word on what exactly Banks will be doing on SmackDown tonight, but many predict a rematch between her and Belair at SummerSlam on August 21.
