Lio Rush has teased his WWE return for the August 22 edition of Raw.
Lio Rush signed with WWE in 2017 and spent three years with the promotion before being released in April 2020 during the pandemic.
As of late, the former Cruiserweight Champion has been teasing his return to the company after Triple H has taken over all creative duties since Vince McMahon’s retirement.
In another tease, Rush has posted an image to his Twitter page with the released WWE star in the Hammerstein Ballroom at The WRLD on GCW event with “8.22.22” in white on the picture.
The date written, August 22, 2022, is this Monday, which has led to further speculation that Rush may return on Monday Night Raw from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Lio Rush would be the next in a list of released stars who have returned under the Triple H regime, which includes Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Dexter Lumis and the Hit Row trio of Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis and B-Fab.
Rush has previously posted a video with career highlights from his time before and after WWE, which ended with his release and him saying “this isn’t the end”. He also posted a picture of himself with Bobby Lashley.
