WWE Legend Was Surprised To Land A Match At WrestleMania 39 WWE

A WWE legend was surprised to land a match at WrestleMania 39.

In February, WWE Hall of Famer Lita made her return to the company to aid Becky Lynch in her rivalry with Damage CTRL’s Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.

This led to Lita and Becky defeating Kai and SKY to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and teaming with Trish Stratus to beat Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania 39.

Speaking with former WWE star Dean Muhtadi, formerly known as Mojo Rawley, for TMZ, Lita provided insight on her WrestleMania experience and called it “surreal.” She said:

“I had no aspirations, no idea that I would be at WrestleMania 39 so just walking down that stage and everything, it was really surreal and to do (it) with two people that I’m so close to, or were close to (she smiled).”

Revealing how she made it clear to her teammates ahead of the bout that she wanted to enjoy this WrestleMania moment, the WWE Hall of Famer said:

“It was really fun and I said to them, I remember saying to them before we went out, ‘Hey, it’s a really long ramp and I know we’re mad at Damage CTRL and we got business to take care of but for the first half, can we just have fun and take it in and then we can get serious?’”

“And they’re like, ‘Okay.’ I feel like only I did that though. I’m walking down being like, ‘Oh hell yeah! This is rad’ and they’re like, ‘We’re gonna kick your ass.’”

Lita hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since being attacked by Trish Stratus on the April 10 edition of Raw.

According to reports, there are no official plans moving forward for the WWE legend to return anytime soon.
