WWE NXT 2.0 Live Results – May 24, 2022 WWE

It’s Tuesday night, and that means another adventure into the bizarre and divisive world of WWE’s developmental brand, NXT 2.0.

Unless some matches that were previously announced end up being removed, it seems like there’s quite a number of matches to fit into two hours.

Here’s the lineup as far as we know it:

  • Bron Breakker vs. Duke Hudson
  • Mandy Rose vs. Indi Hartwell
  • Pretty Deadly vs. Roderick Strong & Damon Kemp
  • Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo & Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan vs. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade
  • Sanga vs. Wes Lee
  • Von Wagner vs. Ikemen Jiro
  • Alba Fyre vs. Elektra Lopez
  • Nikkita Lyons vs. Fallon Henley (Breakout Tournament semi-final)
  • Roxanne Perez vs. Lash Legend (Breakout Tournament semi-final)

In Your House is fast approaching on June 4, so let’s see who can start to build momentum. Follow along with our live coverage below for all the updates, results and reactions to tonight’s show.

Duke Hudson vs. Bron Breakker

A video package introducing but not showing Giovanni Vinci but he is coming soon; apparently, he is going to be an Italian, high fashion based character.

Joe Gacy and his Fashion Nova druids continue to lurk Breakker and get closer and closer to the action as the match progresses.

Hudson is teasing getting Breakker into a Steiner Recliner but no dice; eventually Breakker loses his cool and goes after the druids, fighting them first, and then when Gacy is up on the apron, Bron takes a steel chair and swings at Gacy who hops away to safety and when Hudson strikes Breakker from behind, Bron turns around and swings the chair on him right in front of the ref and gets disqualified!

Ah! Storytelling! If Bron loses control at In Your House, he will LOSE to Gacy!!

Von Wagner vs. Ikemen Jiro

Wow this episode has a lot going on!

There’s a Von Wagner match against Ikeman Jiro where he picks up the win but doesn’t get to stand tall after there’s a run in by Briggs. Backstage after the break, Robert Stone is ranting and Sofia Cromwell has a sassy, overly delivered line but she tells Stone to chill out, Wagner needs to ruffle some feathers!

Mandy Rose interrupts Wade and Vic who are reacting to this Von Wagner mess where Rose challenges Wendy Choo and Toxic Attraction challenge Katana and Kayden for In Your House saying next week, they’ll make it official! Also is Mandy Rose from New Jersey? I hear it. “Bawls”

Now Trick Williams and Melo are in the barber shop and Cameron Grimes is also there, next week it will be Grimes vs. Nathan Frazer who Grimes teases Hayes, some people think is like Melo but even better. I struggle with that rationale but he is a handsome man so… this is NXT, there’s no time to think! On to the NEXT THING!

Fallon Henley vs. Tiffany Stratton

Fallon Henley played a stupid game and won a stupid prize as she lost her match against Tiffany Stratton, lost her ‘free pass’ to the final of the NXT Women’s Breakout tournament and it seems fascinating that if Nikkita Lyons is out, is the rocket fully strapped to Stratton instead OR did they just realize that Roxanne Perez and Nikkita Lyons are both majorly over as faces so setting them up against each other was silly…?

Either way, it gifted us an awkward celebration between Grayson Waller and Tiffany Stratton!

Mandy Rose vs. Indi Hartwell

Big match for Indi against champ Mandy Rose! Of course, this match ends with some tomfoolery, as is customary in Toxic Attraction matches it seems, as Mandy retains.

However she won’t get away scot-free as while Jacy and Gigi continue to brawl with Kayden and Katana at ringside, Mandy tries to just leave up the ramp but she’s caught by Wendy Choo who slaps her in the face with a big bag of balls and then pours the aforementioned balls all over her, saying balls a couple of times, you know – balls!

I have finally realized this is a show for teenagers.

Roxanne Perez vs. Lash Legend (Breakout Tournament semi-final)

A big announcement before this match that sees Nikkita Lyons out (after a freak accident in training?) Tiffany Stratton in (after telling Fallon Henley she wasn’t fooling anyone her country girl routine to which Henley retorted something along the lines of Hee-yaw bitch! and stupidly gave away her free pass to the tournament final, instead opting to take a match with Stratton instead of Lyons for tonight? That is a choice!

Roxanne Perez heads into the final after besting Lash Legend after hitting the Pop Rox and getting the pinfall victory.

Backstage, Mandy Rose is trying to cut a walk and talk promo on Indi Hartwell when she and Toxic Attraction get attacked by Kayden and Katana!

Alba Fyre vs. Elektra Lopez

This re-package is SO GOOD, I enjoy Alba Fyre and her flaming bat prop! So good! Cora Jade is at ringside with popcorn for this match.

Fyre makes short work of Lopez in an impressive albeit brief match as she picks up a solid victory.

After the match, Lopez spots Cora Jade at ringside with her popcorn and slaps it out of her hands as they jabber jaw

Damon Kemp is on the phone then hangs up as the rest of Diamond Mine walks up, he says the match isn’t happening, that was medical, the match with Roddy is off, he rolled his ankle, they’re all talking over each other which isn’t ideal but- it’s done. “This is Diamond Mine… no matter what, you go out and perform!” doesn’t sound like a good motto but Creed Brothers send Kemp to get another update…? Then get pissed at Pretty Deadly! this acting is not good! I’m struggling to keep it positive but here’s another exclamation point!

Sanga vs. Wes Lee

Wes Lee vs. Sanga is fun with a major move near the beginning which makes both Vic and Wade pause their talking to shout “Whoa!” in unison. In the end, Sanga picks up the victory after a short showcase of Wes Lee’s solo skills with a distraction from Xyon Quinn who comes to ringside.

After the match, backstage with Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez they discuss a past match with a locker room bully named Jenna Waters that Cora says the name of, twice? That seems like a thing! Apparently, this girl was mean to Roxanne and Cora but they got her back, in the ring and after the match when Cora hit her with a skateboard! Okay, that went from a little inspirational to assault but okay, we’ll let it play out!

Backstage, Breakker is hunting for Gacy’s druids and busts into a locker room to find his championship belt and a polaroid pic he says is “from 20 years ago…?” …? indeed!

Two Dimes and Stacks vs. Malik Blade and Edris Enofe

The action started hot as the match kicked off the show with full bedlam after LDF ran out as well!

Will Joe Gacy Be Watching?

Bron Breakker will again defend the NXT Championship against Joe Gacy at In Your House, but he has Duke Hudson to worry about tonight:
