Logan Paul Credits WWE Star For Helping Him Understand Wrestling Industry WWE

Logan Paul’s impressive rookie year in WWE has seen him gain massive amounts of respect from his peers and fans alike, proving a natural aptitude for pro wrestling way beyond his experience level.

Paul’s natural athletic abilities were evident as well as his strong character work, however he has had a lot of help along the way to get him to properly gain an understanding of the industry.

While Paul has credited names such as Shane Helms as fundamental to his development, he would reveal another name that helped him massively get to grips with the fundamentals of WWE.

Speaking to BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani, Paul would shout out the ‘A-Lister’ The Miz, the man that Paul had his first singles match with in the company at Summerslam 2022, as a key voice behind the scenes.

When asked about who he goes to advice, Paul would name the two-time grand slam winner in particular:

“I want to say Miz, honestly. He’s so cool and has helped me understand just how this industry works and has even entered the WWE in a similar way to me. He was a reality star and he had to show that he was that guy.

“Anytime I have a question or I do something personally fulling in WWE, I’ll shoot Miz a text because he walked me through that first match and I crushed it just because I had a good coach.”

Paul’s most recent contest with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins at WrestleMania was another well-received bout, however, it looked to potentially be the YouTuber’s last in the WWE ring, with his contract expiring following Mania weekend.

Paul would state that WWE would be “silly not to re-sign him” prior to WrestleMania, something echoed by Paul’s opponent Rollins following the match.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Paul has in fact been re-signed by WWE, although it is unclear as to when he will next be showing up in the company.
